Music Box

This music box was my wedding gift to my wife, Angie. Wind it up, and it plays the song from our first dance.

I built the box from dark ebony and set a panel of bird’s eye maple into the lid, its small swirling eyes glowing warm against the dark frame. Maple splines lock each corner and repeat that lighter tone, while brass hinges add a touch of gold. It’s a small box, but it holds so many beautiful memories.
